What was the Children and Young People’s Assembly on Biodiversity Loss?

The assembly involved 35 randomly selected children and young people (aged 7-17) from across Ireland who met for two weekends in October 2022, to hear about biodiversity loss and to discuss action. The assembly follows Ireland’s Citizens’ Assembly on Biodiversity Loss, where 99 adults have been hearing evidence about biodiversity loss in Ireland and forming action. The final meeting of the citizens’ assembly is due to take place at the end of November, 2022.
