Public Consultation launched for the Warm Healthy Homes Fund: Dates and Locations
The Department for Communities has now launched the public consultation on the Warm Healthy Homes Fund. The consultation will run for 12 weeks from May 27th 2026 to August 19th 2026, the NIDirect consultation webpage link is available here.
The consultation sets out proposals for a new long-term scheme to support low-income households in owner-occupied and private rented homes. The Fund aims to improve energy efficiency, reduce energy costs and support better health outcomes.
The Department are keen to ensure that views from across the sector are captured to inform the final design of the scheme. As part of the consultation, a series of engagement events will be held to provide an overview of the proposals and give stakeholders an opportunity to ask questions and share views.
