Join MACC Hub’s Flexible Funding: Sandpit Sessions to explore funding for innovative, action-based climate adaptation projects. MACC are inviting researchers, community groups, local authorities, businesses, and third sector organisations interested in applying or partnering in a project. There will be funding for up to 10 innovative action-based research projects with a budget ceiling of £55,000 for up to 12 months. The goal is to support academic-community collaborations that learn by doing climate change adaptation where it matters most.

MACC are looking for projects that are:

• Grounded in meaningful community partnerships
• Focused on implementing or scaling adaptation actions
• Centred on vulnerable groups most at risk from climate change
• Supportive of integrated, sectoral, and just transition pathways
