Join Ulster Wildlife for a special evening of nature connection, pollinators, peatlands and hedgehogs. This event is part of Mid Ulster’s Biodiversity week. Special talks from Ulster Wildlife experts include:

 

“Flutter, Buzz and Bloom – The power of pollinators and how we can help them thrive.”,

“Hedgehogs – Discover fascinating facts about these prickly garden visitors.”

Maureen Carvill, Wildlife Gardening Officer

Maureen will share practical tips on how to make your garden a hedgehog haven, helping you support these beloved creatures and create a wildlife friendly space.

 

“The Importance of Peatlands – Benefits to biodiversity and beyond”

Dr Claire McVeighPeatlands Collaborative and Technical Network Officer

Claire will share some of the key species we find on Irish peatland; how Ulster Wildlife and other organisations engaged in peatland restoration, are providing benefits for biodiversity, climate, water and more.
