Event details from the Met Office
We warmly invite you to join us in this webinar series where we will hear from members of the Development and Knowledge Sharing (DaKS) network as well as subject matter experts who developed and continue to carry out research on the UK Climate Projections (UKCP). Speakers will talk to share how they have used future climate information, the challenges they have encountered and approaches they have used for overcoming some of these challenges. We will learn from subject matter experts about how these projections are developed and what that means for how the information could be interpreted. There will be opportunities to interact and pose questions to explore the topics further.
In November’s webinar we will hear from:
- Dafni Sifnioti about “UKCP18 and EDF UK R&D: How, what and why?”
- Philip Sansom about “Exploiting UKCP18 for extreme value analysis of meteorological hazards in a changing climate”
The webinars will be recorded and posted on YouTube afterwards, so you can catch up if you miss one.
When signing up for this event your personal data will be used in accordance with the Met Office Privacy Policy and only in relation to the UK Climate Projections webinars series.
