Action Renewables has launched the Action Renewables Network, a new platform aimed at empowering community-led renewable energy projects across Northern Ireland. This initiative is part of the wider Energy Learning Network (ELN)—a £1.5 million, four-year UK-wide programme funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and led by Ashden Climate Solutions, alongside regional partners.

The network will provide communities with practical support, technical expertise, and access to funding, helping overcome key barriers such as limited resources, regulatory challenges, and fragmented support. It also aims to foster collaboration through peer learning, events, and mentoring, positioning Action Renewables as a central hub for advancing community energy across the region.

By connecting local groups with the tools and knowledge they need, the initiative plays a vital role in accelerating decarbonisation and ensuring that communities are active participants in Northern Ireland’s clean energy transition.
